Christina, you have played into the hands of childfree bingo. Suggesting that women without children aren’t grown up is firstly ridiculous, secondly an insidious and unfounded claim, thirdly a grotesque form of pitting mothers against non-mothers and finally i’d like to educate you that having kids isn’t the only path to maturity and growing up. Heck, some parents haven’t even achieved maturity despite having kids. We are all different. For me, maybe investigating murders, working in child protection and putting bad people in jail helped me “grow up” for someone else, maybe being a child carer as in looking after a parent when they were a child helped them mature. And for others, I don’t know, like Theresa May, maybe bring prime minister helped them find maturity?
