Welcome to Day 11 You Happy Hippos

I can’t bring myself to use an image of a factory farm for this story. So I hope you enjoy the image of a magnificent highland cow in Scotland.

I will forever be perplexed about the divisiveness veganism brings about. As I was scrolling through Twitter, reading some of the veganuary posts, the odd anti-vegan post came to my attention.

One of the most common anti-vegan arguments I hear is that eating meat and dairy is “natural”, and then there is usually some reference to us as cavemen.

These comments make me want to scream. I scroll on, calm my triggered brain, and don’t engage.

So the anti-vegan folk want us to stay in the dark ages with our consumption but move with the times with absolutely everything else in life.
