We were ravenous. Lugging bags around and chopping and changing between planes, trains and automobiles certainly work up an appetite.
My partner and I had been traveling most of the day. Arriving at our hotel late in the evening, we dumped our luggage and ventured out to quench our stomach gurgles.
I now know from experience it is difficult to find vegan food in Greece.
Finally, having stumbled upon a restaurant of sorts, which seemed promising, we sat down and breathed a sigh of relief.
We were then told the stuffed peppers were sold out. When asked for an alternative, you know what I was offered?
