👿 that is my facial expression when I found out what the vegan option was in a restaurant, which had reassured me they cater for vegans.

Simple, it is exactly the same as the set menu for the rest of the party I am with, but, minus the lump of meat. And guess what — I have to pay the same amount. So I get less food, no substitute or alternative and there is no change to the price.
