Welcome to Day 23 You Positive Pigs

Ok, I admit, I was a bit of an arse.

I was in the company of a couple who had my spidey senses screaming. It was clear we were polar opposites in all areas of life. From politics to ideas on self-care and round to food and animal rights. I was trying to keep a low profile and stay on the periphery of the conversation. But perhaps they had never met one of “my kind” before.

They were the friends of someone in my family. Whilst it isn’t necessarily relevant to highlight, they were a generation older than me.

They constantly challenged me. I felt goaded. They weren’t asking about my veganism out of curiosity to learn. They were simply trying to make me wrong.

Finally, I flipped, but I kept a smile on my face, so that’s ok right?
