And just when I was bragging about how vegan-friendly the world is becoming. How easy it is to eat out. I get stung.

It’s always good to get away for a few days. I booked a table in a nice restaurant and specifically checked there were vegan options available. I was assured there were several!

LIES! There was only one vegan option on the menu.

So I asked a waiter. He handed me a different menu — which had no vegan options! 🤨

So I asked another waiter and explained I had been told there were several vegan options. She went off and checked with the chef. She returned and pointed out all the vegetarian options. Sigh

I wasn’t being awkward. But of course, I clarified the options she highlighted were not vegan.
