Excellent article! Have you heard of the term tokophobia? It is a genuine fear of childbirth, pregnancy and babies.

I have read through the comments and am fascinated at some of the "opinions".

Please know you are entitled to your opinion. You write a compelling and strong article.

Childbirth is dangerous. Full stop the end.

If someone wants to willingly put themselves through it as they want kids. Fantastic, good foryou and I wish you all the best.

But if someone doesn't want to, then they shouldn't have to and they deserve as much respect and understanding for opting out.
