This is a really informative article. Thank you. I am vegan and know only too well the plight of chickens. I do a daily vegan article for veganuary here in Spread the Ripple. During my research I learned thaat some chickens who are classed as "free range" actually aren't really and they only need a peep hole to the outside. So some barns have holes that chickens can poke their head out and see the world, but they can't access it. I'm not sure where that would come in your pecking order.
