Hey Ronke, our brains are synchronised. I have thought about this one often.

In the book "A long way to a small angry planet" (which I did a story about), there is an interesting sentence where children are referred to as having “potential” and adults are referred to as having “achievement” and “knowledge”.

I think the meaning of "women and children first" is deeply sexist. It's assuming that women are the main care givers for the children. And as unpopular an opinion as this is, I don't agree that there is a any superiority of any life whether they are a women, man or child.

Very interesting topic indeed.
