I loved the Lost Art of Running and also Born to Run. Both are fantastic books. I thought Shane Benzie's approach to foot strike was fascinating and his talk of elasticity was also really interesting. I have implemented some of his tips into my own running and I have to say, I feel I am running with fluidity and elasticity. I feel great.

Thanks for your article, which summarised such a debated topic so well. I think I have changed from a heel striker (very prone to injury) to a tripod lander. I hope anyway!
