My parents also separated when I was 8 years old. I also still have a very complicated relationship with my father and am close to estrangement. I also have a close family member who is under the grips of alcohol. I also lived in Cairns for a bit. I also have had many battles with my sense of worth, belonging, value etc etc all tied to childhood stuff.
