I think it depends on your definition of success. If it’s monetary - some folk may be successful who I don’t rate. If it’s writing with vigour, vulnerability and passion - now that’s awesome.

There are one or two writers who are simply marketeers who write 90% about writing and how to be successful, clever huh! They may research their articles, and produce high quality work, but they aren’t story tellers with interesting content. To me this isn’t what I want to read. We can all be successful if we are achieving what we set out to achieve 😀
