I wonder if you have ever considered that the childfree DO understand this and this is exactly why we chose not to have children. I appreciate parenting is tough but please please don’t fall into the trap of adding to the “us and them.”

We are all human. We all suffer, love and experience happiness. Do we need to make it a competition?

No one can ever truly understand another unless we walk in their shoes. Let’s be compassionate to others and wish them fulfilment for whatever their life looks like. Whether they are parents, childless or childfree.

Life is complex and nuanced. Share the love.

Let’s not quibble about who understands who. I hear parenting is tough and exhausting and thankless and so many other things. Please don’t resent and berate the childfree for this.
