If you want to increase views on your stories, you need to read and engage with other people's stories. It's as simple as that. Arbitrarily tagging people is not a good strategy. It's all part of the Medium etiquette. Authentic engagement is essential. For instance, if you had left meaningful comments on some of my articles and then tagged me that would have been ok (ish), but best use of tags is when we link to someone elses work for instance "Joe Blogs recently wrote an article about XXXXX which made me think...." get it? And use tags sparingly.

Believe me, I made this mistake many times in my earlier years on Medium. I hope you recognise that I'm trying to help you learn the etiquette and improve your engagement and readership.
