I'm so with you. I get married in July and I'm not having a hen do. I don't want anyone to have to spend what they can't afford. And to be honest, I've been to so many and rarely had a great time. They aren't worth the money and even the bride to be doesn't have the best time. Mixed friend groups can cause issues, they're stressful.

If I were to have a hen do, it would be about 10 mini ones, spending time with friends on an individual basis or 2 at a time if they were friends and doing things that we all enjoyed. A trail run with some, then coffee and cake. Go to the movies with another. A glass of wine with another. A trip to a museum with another. A dog walk with another. The cinema with one.... you get the picture.
