I’m somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed the book and took a lot from it. But I thought it lacked authenticity. For instance, she would talk about not having any friends and then each chapter she would have a story about her and a good friend.

I think she is honest in relation to how she feels but she attributes those feelings on all women. I felt uncomfortable at her dislike for the popular and confident teenager. Yes she recognised this in herself but she implies all women do this. Hmmmmm
