Interesting thought. I think I am now in the space that I only really want people to comment and clap if they want to. If they have something to add to the conversation, superb, let's talk about it. Let's develop what I've written through conversation.

I don't write in a niche and I'd say some of my loyal followers LOVE some pieces and feel confused by others. I hate that some feel obligated to read every piece.

That said, I'm still a recovering people pleaser, so I don't think I would want to who has looked at something and not interacted at all as my mind would go straight to the "they hate it" as opposed to all them any many reasons they may not have interacted. And, actually it's also ok for people to hate some of my writing.
