It breaks my heart that we are taught to see seperation and divorce as failure. I would love to see more cards of celebration about divorce. The sense of rejection and betrayal mixed in with shame is suffocating. But imagine we could reframe it. Imagine we could recognise our fortune at the re-birth and being free of someone who has such little regard for us.

I give my friends cards and celebrate them when they divorce. I do what I can to alleviate their sense of failure.
