It sounds like you are frustrated and feeling isolated and alone.

I feel alot of your anger is directed at those of us who have chosen not to have children. Maybe not intentionally, or maybe I have misinterpreted this? Please be careful of the "us and them" this can create between parents and non-parents.

Either way, can I just reassure you - I do alot of work in childfree communittees and I have never heard anyone begrudgingly talk about paying taxes for services we will never use directly - such as education, child protection, children social work and health. That said, I'm sure there are people out there who say that, but please know that is not the attitude of the majority of us without children.

I believe passionately that we all need to make the right choices for us and our circumstances. For me, that is in not having children. For others that is in having children. Each option and each life comes with it's own challenges.
