It was my first piece that seemed to be popular. I think it struck a chord with some folk and ended up being shared in various social media groups.

I am so pro people choosing whatever is right for them in terms of children. Whilst I believe dogs bring the ultimate happiness and fulfillment to life, I recognise this is based on my parameters of happiness and fulfillment. I appreciate not everyone wants a dog and not everyone likes dogs. Heck not everyone could look after a dog.

Going against social norms can be difficult, but also empowering.
