It’s tough. Totally unpopular opinion here but I can understand why it’s so hard from a business perspective. I’m not saying it’s right, quite the contrary. But the amount of time off all my friends have had for appointments, feeling ill etc is something businesses are trying to avoid.

Not sure what the solution is. It’s illegal in the U.K. to ask if someone has children or is planning to during a job interview.
