Ooooft, this was a powerful read. One that I could relate to entirely. Thank you for focusing on the relationship. You are absolutely right, there is no one else in my world who could have passed away when Jasper did that would have caused me more pain.

I find the whole bereavement policy with the work place offensive. It is simply assuming everyone has a nuclear family and a normal family. I have been reading about relationship anarchy and it is fascinating!
