Susan I’ve so much to say, I feel we could discuss this for hours.

I’m also one of 4 and the addiction and estrangements are complex.

I feel I could easily have become an alcohol addict. But my addictions surrounded exercise. I now exercise healthily and rarely drink.

I had to stop my twin sister from drunk driving 5 years ago. She’s never forgiven me and carries an anger and hostility to me. We haven’t spoken in a long time. I will not be her punch bag.

I know you said that you were raised in the same environment so we’re curious about individual outcomes, but interestingly each sibling is raised in a different environment. Parents relationship is different, socio-economic environment differs between children, level of emotional attention differs. Etc etc.

It’s fascinating really.

I hope your brother you have no contact with finds the way.
