Yes, the UK is really very good for vegan options. I think London was voted vegan city of the year. Edinburgh - where I still consider home has improved no end over the last 8 years.

Unfortuatenly where I am currently living in Ireland still needs to make some progress. Hopefully we will get there! :-)
