I completely agree with you. Mothers aren't supported adequately. Did you miss the part in this piece where I say:

"Being a mother is tough; there’s no disputing this. Looking in from the outside, I see the struggles, the chaos, and the exhaustion. I also recognise the love it brings.

Women can’t win.

We are pressured from all angles to have children and then left to fend for ourselves without adequate support."

This article is not an attack on mothers, if you read through it again, you will see it is in support of mothers. It is asking for less comparison as being a parent is not the only source of happiness, struggles, exhaustion, joy, and love. As compassion is never found in comparison.
