Where To Find the Best Vegan Food in Puerto de Mogan, Gran Canaria
Google didn’t help me before my trip, so this is my gift to you 😀
Being offered lettuce leaves as the main meal is enough to turn even the most docile of us into a gremlin.
Yes, that actually happened to me a few years ago in Athens, Greece. Worst of all, my partner’s eyes urged me to settle for the leaves!
Our hanger was affecting our mood. We stropped along the street like petulant teenagers, him angry that I wouldn’t accept the leaves while I wallowed in my frustration that he thought leaves were an option. Finally, we found somewhere with suitable sustenance for us both.
Luckily for my partner, I transition from gremlin to mogwai within a few mouthfuls.
This Greek experience was a few years ago now. But holidaying and traveling as a vegan still brings a whole new set of conundrums into the equation.
I’ve recently returned from the beautiful town of Puerto de Mogan in Gran Canaria. A quiet hub on the south of the island. Despite my advanced research, the vegan options seemed scarce, to say the least.
Sometimes the internet does not prevail.
