You are so right, society still judges divorce and tarnishes them as something failed. But isn't it time we recognise them for the deep self-knowing they bring. For recognising when to leave a relationship that makes you unhappy. I give my friends celebratory cards when they seperate or get divorced. It's high time Hallmark follow suit and give us a selection of cards.

But the patriarchy and capitalism don't want us to encourage divorce, it's not in their interest....

Sadly, I know too many people stuck in unhappy marriages because of the shame of divorce. It's so frustrating. Great piece!
